Graham Caldersmith "Treble Guitar" (Requinto) 2nd hand $2700 AUD Cedar top with Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. "Sometimes known by the South American name, requinto, as it’s tuned 5 semitones above a normal guitar. However, the acoustics of the treble guitar are different in that it has a big, sweet sound whereas the requinto has a short, sharp, ‘mandolin-like’ sound. String length is 52cm, enabling the treble to be strung with normal strings. The body is significantly smaller, as is the scale. |

Ben Hall "Forte" $5995 AUD Engelmann Spruce top and Pao Ferro back and sides. This is Ben's "half latiice with a treble bar" bracing pattern that he has dubbed "Forte" or "Steinway " bracing. These guitars have a powerful and character laden sound that is very musical and the trebles have that sometimes elusive "singing" sound. |
Ben Hall Classical $ enquire Cedar top and gorgeous, old growth Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. A very fine, powerful instrument from Ben with his unique "Steinway" bracing. |

|
Bruce Roberts Concert Classical - Lattice Braced Cedar/Rosewood $7000 Mastergrade Western Red Cedar soundboard, Indian Rosewood back and sides. Bruce's lattice guitar are a beautiful cross between old and new. The bracing, although lattice, is European spruce as opposed to the more common balsa/carbon fibre. These are very responsive lightly built instruments. |
|
Bruce Roberts "Torres" $7000 European Spruce/European Flamed Maple back/sides. Bruce's take on a 19th Century Torres is an absolute stunner in both sound and looks. Sweet Hauser-like tone and beautiful playability. |

Dan Kellaway Concert Classical $ 8500 Cedar top with Walnut back and sides. " produced with a particular sound in mind — a combination of sweetness and clarity, even response and high volume, without sacrificing an inherently traditional tonality in the Spanish style. These instruments are produced with meticulous attention to detail, using traditional design parameters with weight, traditional but unique rosette and headstock design, aesthetic heel carving and neck shaping, set up for ease of playing without sacrificing clarity and volume." |

Kim Lissarrague European Spruce/Ziricote back & sides $7950 AUD Kim's latest spruce concert guitar is a winner on all levels. It is loud but sweet with a wide variety of tone colour, is gorgeous to look at and easy to play. Kim is known for his immaculate build quality but his (water-based lacquer) finish seems to have gone to another level in the looks department but remains thin and pliable. Huge! |
