This is the cheapest guitar on the market that we are willing to vouch for. 
It is a reliable and popular model that does the job for the student on a budget or someone who is uncertain if they want to take up the guitar and wants to make  a small investment to find out.
The TC46 will suit a total beginner but as the learning progresses a better instrument may be soon needed.
